Wondering if there are any spots I can hit solo...

I'm probably going to be in Bangkok for one night solo while my friends meet up with me the following day. Hoping to have a little fun that night but not sure what my options are in Bangkok. And whether I should be weary about walking around late night in the area.

Any advice would be great

Sorry for the late response. Had some issues with the logins on the forum.

It all depends on what you like to do and where you're staying. But you can't go wrong with either Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy. Patpong is hit or miss, and can be intense at times with people trying to drag you into their establishment. Nana Plaza has a great selection of girls (100's of them).

There are a couple of bars in Nana that are Ladyboy bars (3 or 4), but you'll know them when you see them (Cascade, Temptations, etc). And only in Lollipop have I seen both girls and Ladyboys (post-op).

Also to add that outside of nana is fairly safe. However you probably won't want to walk out of Nana and left (away from Sukkumvit). The further away you go, the more Ladyboys are hiding in the shadows. Some being very grabby and and pestering.

Walking towards Sukkumvit will get you a cab and it's a very busy street. After Nana Plaza closes (2am) the Nana Hotel parking lot across the street fills up with freestylers, and there are some available earlier as well. But for ease and safety take a girl out of one of the bars.

Less chance for problems.
