Saturday December 5th is a national Thailand holiday. It's the King's birthday, and also celebrated as Fathers Day.
Most bars, gogos and discos will be closed that night, so get some numbers early. Alcohol sales are also limited that day so stock up early. Not sure about soapy massage parlors. Chances are those will be open to service horny Dads. Regular massage parlors should be open.
Other entertainment like bowling, movie theaters, etc will be especially busy.
