Friday Dec 18 brought a new gogo to Walking Street Pattaya. The name of the gogo is "Bacarra", and it's identical to the Baccara gogo on Soi Cowboy in Bangkok. Located on the beach side of Walking Street near Soi Diamond the decor of Baccara is classy and modern, with a two story red neon framed stage. The bottom floor has bikini dancers in heels and the upper level has dancers in schoolgirl outfits and tennis shoes. You can choose to sit on either the bottom or second floor. On the bottom floor you can look though the clear stage of the 2nd floor and up the skirts of the girls dancing.
It was fairly busy inside, with it still being opening weekend. I spotted 40+ girls inside, so plenty for everyone's taste. Something I didn't like were the girls seemed VERY AGGRESSIVE for Pattaya, quickly asking for Lady drinks and tips without giving you more than 10 seconds to warm up. In my experience this is similar to Baccara on Soi Cowboy, where the girls are very sharkish. Kinda like being at a strip club in the States.
Barfines are 600 baht and there are no short time rooms at Baccara. So you will need to take the girl out your choice outside. There are rooms all up and down Walking Street so no worries about having a place close if there's a girl that you like.
Lady drinks are 105 baht, and mixed drinks will run you about 140 baht. Something I noticed was the drink holders were from Happy & Beach Club gogo's so figure the same people who own that are at least partners at this new gogo. When new larger gogo's like this open girls flock to it from many other gogo's to get a piece of "new" customers.
Reserving judgment for Baccara until going in a few more times. The money aggressiveness is a big turn off and there are SO MANY other places to frequent that it's completely unnecessary.
