Ok, so a taxi driver asked me and a buddy if we wanted girls, usually we say no, but this time we said fuckit, lets go, we took a taxi to this street (near Petchaburi MRT) and there was like hundreds of girls hanging all along this street

so we drove from group to group, girl to girl, driving so slowly, windows down, they chatting to us, to other customers etc, seen some VERY hot girls in there

anyone know what this place is called, and what is the prices for girls like this?

next time i want to go down that street by foot, and really talk to every girl and ladyboy hehe :D

any info on this? either way i'll find out next time i go back ;)

I heard of a similar place near Lumpini but was told to steer clear cos all the girls were rip off merchants, the place you mention sounds like fun though, was there any bars or just girls hanging out on the streets?

I've heard of something like that on Asoke(?), mainly for the wealthy Thais to go and pick up Thai poon for the evening. The girls are cute, normally the college coed type in girlfriend dresses and a mouth full of braces. After the love connection (in a car or taxi), you'd head back to your place or one of the 1000's of short time Thai hotels in the city. Personally I'd lean HEAVILY towards towards taking them to a short time hotel.

Be careful, those girls generally have pimps or boyfriends watching close by and/or arrange the deal. I haven't done it personally yet, so don't know the price range or their feelings on Farang cock. :cool:

I was there in August , it is just off new petchburi road , and there are alot of really gorgeous girls , if u want to find it , coming from sukhumvit road go down asoke , until u get to the next mrt station , and turn right onto new petchburi rd . Travel down about 1 km , and lookout on the left hand side for them on the corner , and up that small street , which turns left , and runs parallel with new petchburi rd . The girls dont start turning up until after 10 pm most nites , are mostly farang friendly , but try to ask 4,500 long time , and 2,500 short time . If u can single them out , and get them away from the other girls though , the prices drop to 3 - 3.5 L/T , 1,500 - 2,000 S/T . there is usually fifty to 100 girls there , and some absolute stunners amongst them . If you like em 18 -23 , college / uni type girls , check it out . The general standard of all the girls , is well above the average go go bar , so cruise past in a taxi and have a look , u wont be disappointed . Gents, I am happy to truly have something to contribute... the area you talk about is called Asoke Petburi by the residents. Behind the long street (the location very well described by others) is where all the girls you will see live in a "slum" (a maze like shanty-village) called "Asoke Petburi" because of its proximity to the MRT.

The girl that I would call more than my "gik" but less than my "girlfriend" lives there and I have visited several times.

Good news: I agree with everyone that there are many a good looking girl on the street there. They pretty much roll out of their rooms and onto the street. The street is almost always bustling and the Army even set up a little stage for the residents to do shows during the week of the King's birthday.

Bad news is as described by others... boyfriend pimps nearby etc. but really I am writing this to warn you that this area of Bangkok is quite dangerous. Everyone I met there has been wonderful to me, but my "gf" assures me that if I were there alone wondering about on foot.... I would be unlikely to escape unscathed.... and having been there several times late at night, I concur.

Also note that this place is an epi-center of drug use/sales. Police are constantly raiding places and I was fortunate enough to just leave a girl's room with my friend within minutes of the door in the shanty being kicked in by the police and the girl arrested for selling ya-baa (now serving a 4 year 6 month sentence). The police ran by where I was sitting calmly drinking Mei-Kong/Soda water.... MANY Police... all undercover and looking like they should be in a rock band except for the badges and guns.

I would say that while the girls are cute, most of the best girls live there and work elsewhere (Soi Cowboy is a 5 minute cab ride away) and given the drugs, police, poor lighting, distance from normal farang areas .... it is unlikely that you will find a bargain and more likely that you will end up minus your wallet +/- teeth or get arrested for just being somewhere farangs "don't belong." ... remember the 3 cardinal rules of Thailand 1) No drugs 2) No children 3) Don't say anything bad about the King. Follow these 3 rules and 99% you will be okay unless u are being completely stupid... like being on this road alone at night.

If u are an experienced BKK traveler and feel very comfortable in shady areas, you might consider going by and staying inside a taxi, but I would not go with a driver that suggested it. Better to go with a driver (like one driver I had) who he himself was almost afraid to drive there.

This area is not listed as among the most dangerous places in BKK for Farang I think because Farang have no business there in the first place... but for the record, the Bangkok Post currently lists the following as the most dangerous places in BKK for break-ins, muggings, etc.:

1) Soi Lat Phrao 101; 2) Soi Lat Phrao 107; 3) Soi Supapong off Sri Nakarin Road; 4) Soi Sukhumvit 105; 5) Soi Phahon Yothin 52; 6) Sanam Luang; 7) Victory Monument (after dark); 8) Soi On Nut 44; 9) Soi Chalerm Phrakiat 14 off Udomsuk Road; 10) Rarm Intra market.

Final note, my "gf" was able to "guess" 7 of these 10 places cuz she is ah.... a "bad girl" and feels that Asok Petburi is more dangerous than most of the other places on the list, particularly for Farang.

My advise is to go to Nana or Soi Cowboy to find the same girls, minus their boyfriends and without all the added risk.
